.  001.  .  R'essa was born and raised to a small tribe in the Lochs, and frequented Ala Mhigo and Gridania for trading in her youth. Her tribe would be recognizable from the area, though she herself fled in the invasion. Notably to those of Miqo'te culture, she has taken her mother's name as her surname, rather than that of her Nuhn..  002.  . Along with countless others, R'essa retreated with the invasion of Garlemald, fleeing to Ul'dah. She would live in the city for over a decade, and would be readily recognizable to other refugees; and anyone noticing her street performances in her youth-- along with other less than savory occupations she held for years..  003.  .  after two decades of hard work, the woman has decided that it is time for her to finally seize her right-- a seat on the syndicate. nearly all of her actions work herself towards this goal, and she is constantly seeking business opportunities with other merchants and "networking" to improve her already respectable standing.

.  004.  .  R'essa wears her wealth on her sleeve, and is always looking to make a deal. Opulent and engaging, she is always seeking out would-be adventurers to "fetch" things for her; be it delivering something to a shady location for her, acquiring things very legally from ruins, or perhaps even previous employers. Her keen eyes are always on the lookout, and will approach anyone she seems a good candidate (someone who won't ask too many questions)..  005.  .  The following is not common knowledge, and pertains to her story. Please discuss before using. R'essa has sought out for some time the means to further her studies on aetheric manipulation and magnification. Having no ties to Sharlayan and yet desperately seeking further knowledge, she will do whatever she needs to receive the tomes and materials she's after; there is no price on knowledge to her-- though curiously she strays away from the thaumaturge's guild for her well of knowledge..  006.  .  The following is not common knowledge, and it pertains to her story. Please discuss before using. R'essa's mother defected to the Garleans at the beginning of the invasion, sending R'essa away with their money instead for a fresh life for her. Her mother proceeded to act as an informant to the Garleans for many years during their occupation. R'essa is aware of this, and while she may have complicated feelings on the matter, the fact at hand remains that her mother is very likely still alive. It is a race between her, and the last surviving members of her tribe, to see who finds her first however-- and what her punishment may be, if any.

With a tongue as sharp as whatever small blade she keeps on her at all times, and a wit sure to leave even the most stalwart of soldiers exhausted, R'essa is a woman who excels in finding pride wherever she can. From her own rags to riches story to whatever her research may hold, the woman is never at a loss for her own achievements; and is sure to make others know of them as well.One could even call the display plastic, manufactured; even the Miqo'te herself has long since foregone genuine emotion in her interactions with everyday passerbys. After all, they're naught but a means to an end to her. Everything is a means to an end. The mantra that she repeats to herself as she paints her lips day after day follows her in ever interaction. Everything is a business opportunity.Though for all of her front and glamour, the passion and determination that drives the woman is near contagious, burning like a wildfire threatening to engulf whichever sellsword or unassuming merchant she picks up next to consume. Truly, the most genuine part about the woman is the drive that pulls her to her goals. Whether the goals are as transparent however remains to be yet seen.

  • 21+ Please.  I am well over the age of twenty one and would prefer my writing partners be as well. I will not interact with anyone younger than the age of eighteen with this character, as her story and themeing err on the more mature end of the scale. That is not to say ERP, but the story beats themselves are not child friendly.

  • Flexible Schedule.  I live in the PST timezone but have an early work day, though work from home and my most frequent times to be online in game are during the work day. I tend to not spend my evenings in game, but if I have a reason to (scheduled RP session, content) I will make the exception.

  • In-game and Discord.  I frequent both and can flex between the two with relative ease and frequency. I am open and available to any linkshells or RP community servers that may arise.   • Character on Crystal.  Though willing to DC travel as needed, though I do have both her home and office on the server. I prefer to write with people who are as willing to DC travel as I am; that being said, i will likely be hanging out on Mateus more often than not.

  • Don't be weird.  I feel like this is something that I hate having to include but is necessary to include anyway. Anything that happens in character is not indicative of my own thoughts or feelings as a writer. Anything that happens in character stays in character. And most importantly, I will never hold a grudge for anything that happens in character and would appreciate the same courtesy.

  • About the Author.  I use she/her pronouns, am in my thirties and live in the united states. I am married and have a full time job. I've been roleplaying for almost two decades, and genuinely love collaborative storytelling as one of my favorite hobbies. The thing that I love most about it however is the friends that I make along the way; some of them going on upwards of ten years at this point. I only look forward to making more friends in the future!
